Career Coaching with Bianca Raby – Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Career Coaching with Bianca Raby. These terms and conditions apply to the career coaching services offered by Bianca Raby of Valo Limited and form our entire agreement.
Please read these terms and conditions carefully, as they outline the rights and responsibilities of both the Coach and the client. By paying the fee, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
1. Definitions
1.1 Bianca Raby may also be referred to as 'Bianca,' 'the Coach,' 'I,' 'me,' or 'my.'
1.2 You may be referred to as 'you,' 'your,' and 'the client.'
1.3 Coaching is defined by the International Coaching Federation as ‘partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximise their personal and professional potential. The process of coaching often unlocks previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity and leadership.’
1.4 The coaching period for the Starter Package is 6-8 calendar weeks from the date of purchase.
1.5 The coaching period for the Accelerating Package is 12-15 calendar weeks from the date of purchase.
2. Coaching Services
2.1 Services
2.1.1 Coaching services are intended to empower you to make a career transition from teaching to another education-related field such as corporate training, instructional design or curriculum development.
2.1.2 Coaching is designed to assist you to:
- consider alternative careers
- identify and describe your transferable skills
- refresh your resume, LinkedIn and online profiles
- build up your network
- improve your interview performance and salary negotiation skills.
2.1.3 I do not guarantee specific job placements, interview outcomes or results.
2.2 Delivery
2.2.1 Coaching is delivered online, using Zoom or a similar video conferencing program.
2.2.2 Each session will be recorded and provided in video, audio and written transcript format within 24 hours of the session.
2.2.3 You are responsible for booking your sessions at times and dates that are suitable to you via my calendar booking system. If you can’t find a suitable date and time, you may contact me to request a specific date and time. I don’t guarantee my availability, but I will work with you to ensure we are able to meet in a reasonable time frame.
2.2.4 You must use all of your coaching sessions before the end of the coaching period. Any unused sessions will expire at the end of that period unless an extension of time has been agreed by me in writing.
2.2.5 You agree to give me at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule a session. You must reschedule your sessions within your coaching period, otherwise they will expire at the end of the period. I will attempt in good faith to reschedule a missed session before the end of your coaching period but cannot guarantee that I will be available.
2.3 Communication
2.3.1 Aside from the live coaching sessions, any other communication between us will be by email or WhatsApp, using the email addresses and contact numbers provided.
2.3.2 We agree that each of us will respond to an email from the other within 24 hours of receipt- - taking into consideration different time zones.
2.3.3 We agree that each of us will respond to a WhatsApp message from the other within 12 hours of receipt - taking into consideration different time zones.
2.3.4 If the voice notes are being used, both parties agree to ensure they are no more than 2 minutes long.
2.4 Group coaching
2.4.1 Members of a coaching group agree to follow the group coaching rules (APPENDIX 1) to foster a supportive and constructive environment where participants feel safe, heard and encouraged in their personal growth and development.
3. Client responsibilities
3.1 You are responsible for scheduling your sessions, monitoring your own progress and actively participating.
3.2 For maximum impact, it is recommended you complete the follow up tasks suggested and embody self reflection throughout.
4. Fees and payment
4.1 You agree to pay the coaching fees in full in advance of the first scheduled session.
4.2 Payment can be made via credit card, debit card or bank transfer through the links provided.
4.3 You can discontinue coaching at any time, but no refunds are provided.
5. Termination
5.1 Coaching services terminate at the end of the specified coaching period.
5.2 If extenuating circumstances occur and I become unable to fulfill services, I will refund the undelivered sessions' balance.
5.3 Immediate termination is possible for offensive behaviour.
6. Confidentiality
6.1 I will maintain your confidentiality unless required by law or with your consent.
6.2 You agree to keep confidential information any proprietary information or materials provided during the program.
7. Governing law
7.1 This agreement follows English Common law and the jurisdiction of the British Virgin Islands courts in case of disputes.
8. Limited liability and indemnity
8.1 My liability is limited to the fee paid for the service.
8.2 You agree to indemnify me for any damages arising from your breach of these terms.
9. Intellectual property and copyright
9.1 All intellectual property rights of resources provided will remain with me.
9.2 Your sessions are your intellectual property and will be deleted from my server at the end of the service.
9.2 Materials provided are for personal use, and sharing, distributing or reselling them is prohibited.
10. General
10.1 Our relationship is that of an independent contractor and client.
10.2 Coaching services are personal and non-transferable.
10.3 If any term is unenforceable, it will be severed, and the rest remain in effect.
10.4 These terms and any other written agreements made during the course of the coaching period form the entire agreement.
