Stop teaching AI and start thinking about the future of humans
I’ve spent the last 20 years helping people learn, mostly in education, sometimes in tech, always with heart. Over the past few years, I’ve been speaking about AI, digital transformation, and innovation. But I no longer want to just teach AI tools or showcase the next shiny app in online education. I hit pause on content creation for a reason. I needed space to ask bigger questions. Not about what AI can do, but what it’s doing to us and the future of humans.
If you’re ready to sit with that too—welcome.
Hi, I’m Bianca Raby. Educator, CEO, AI enthusiast and deep thinker. Like many of you, I’ve been sprinting to keep up with AI by learning the tools, prompting the bots, trying to stay “relevant.” But beneath all the hustle, something more meaningful is stirring.
The real questions about AI and the future of humans
What is AI doing to our sense of self? To our work? Our creativity? Our relationships?
When machines can write, design, compose and calculate—where do we, the humans, fit in? And more urgently, what does this mean for the future of humans?
These questions don’t come from fear. They come from reverence—for the messy, magical parts of being human. The parts that can’t be automated by AI assistants. The parts we must choose to protect.
Yes, I’ve had moments where I felt excited by AI. And others where I’ve questioned my value, my craft, and my role in this new world. I’ve asked: What’s the point of decades of experience if an AI tool can replicate it in seconds?
My human value against AI
But then I come back to this:
Our worth was never in our speed. Or productivity. It was always in our ability to feel. To connect. To wonder. This is where the true future of humans lives.
We don’t just need technical prep for the AI era. We need emotional, social, and spiritual readiness too. We need to ask: What kind of humans do we want to be?
Do we want a world flooded with generic, AI-generated content? Or do we choose to keep human storytelling, real dialogue, and slow thinking alive?
If you're tired of empty noise and AI hype, good. That means you’re awake.
Preparing for the future of humans doesn’t require grand gestures. It might mean reassessing a misaligned job. Saying no to fast content. Choosing to create with intention, not just AI like efficiency.
Because the real danger isn’t AI. It’s forgetting what makes us human in the first place.
So, let’s talk about it.
Let’s explore how AI is shaping the future of humans, and how we keep ourselves grounded in what really matters. We’re just getting started.
Until next time, stay awesome.
